When I got a job at a bank, I was very happy. I could take home a fat pay cheque and the best part, I could earn while sitting at a desk in an air-conditioned office. I enjoyed every bit of the job that I had at hand. But soon, I began complaining of a backache. And this ache did not seem to go away. I used to wonder why? Till one day, I came across a list of problems that come as a package with the fat salary and the comfortable desk job that I was feeling lucky about.

People who sit for long hours in front of a computer could face any of the following problems in the long run

  • Blood Clots in veins
  • Backache
  • Tummy Bug – contracted from the dust that settles on our keyboards
  • Turkey neck – thanks to all the hours of looking down at the PC
  • Dehydration – AC adds to the lack of moisture
  • Piles
  • And the worst of all, Bowel Cancer
